And here is my Bartertown Guard outfit.

For these next two, the pads in the first pic aren't the ones I'll be wearing with it. I wear the pads in the second pic.

man they look great, looks like Virginia dont want to let go of you lol

Mine are getting there and we are having a trial run this weekend at the ford coupe event, there are 2 max pursuit specials going.

I need to find out the no to get out of australia to ring you, i will do this soon...

It is axactly 2 months till the day we arrive in LA, still looking in2 RV,s but they want a $1000 deposit on top of the hire when picking it up, infact im going in2 town now to look more into it. What day are you arriving at the event, and how many klm,s is it for you to attend?.
And also it stipulates in hiring them you are not allowed to take them to a burning man event, well im glad the burning man is in a different state...

So looking forward to going. Al

I haven't figured out exactly which day I'm arriving, but probably Thursday night. The trip for me is going to be 2,000+ miles. Yeah, looking forward to that.

We'll work out how to get in touch with each other in the next few weeks.

Lookin' good! You will fit in for sure! I can't tell if you used rivets or what on your armor, but I like it. The checkered flag belt is very cool, too.

You better watch where you're swinging that axe! You're right between those two Interceptors!!!

Great outfits!
Let me know if you ever come across a blue bonds t-shirt like the one from the first movie. Still need one to complete my outfit (I have a similar shirt that I'll have to make do with in the meantime)
I don't think Bonds actually makes the sky blue color anymore.

hey jarred,

Kaz bought the shirt recently i will ask her where she got it from, they were localy here at the shops, if you send me your size i will get you one
and bring it with us, nothing is a drama.

With my outfit i can wear it with jacket or without, depends on the weather in LA in nov, and swap things with Kaz. Some people couldnt get over what we were
doing and the comments from the public and with the amount of cameras going off made it all worth while, we even had the local paper take a few pics
and ask a few questions, even parents were asking us if their kids can get in on a pic, and also 2 elderly ladies who just loved them and remembered madmax.

Humvee, thanks for the comments, hoping you can bring weapons for us as a lil hard for us to bring ours. Even though i copied mine from your pics i hope you liked them.

We were very nervious at 1st and Kaz was more than me, but all worked out well and we certainly made an impression on the day

The next time we get to wear them is a fancy dress early oct, and then in LA in nov. Bring on the road warrior event we just cant wait to get there.

Looking great! I wish I could get my wife to play along like that. Well, in a couple of years my son will be big enough to play the Feral Kid, and don't think I'm not already planning for it. :D

I was going to suggest that one of you guys in Oz make the Bonds shirts available for a reasonable profit.

Oh, hey, just saw this at South Beach Leather: They're now advertising "MFP pants / leather pant / Worn by Mel Gibson / Mad Max film Replica." Only $125, cheaper than the standard jeans style--in "sheep/lamb"; cowhide will cost you an extra $15. They could use a better picture, though.
