What a cool story, and incredible pics, thanks one more time Dale. I cant tell you the joy in seeing these pics, new to us after years of seeing the same pics these are mindblowing.
A couple over the weekend were talking about another cut scene, the one where Goose helps the cabaret singer when her car breaks down, he then goes to see her show that night. I hadnt heard about that scene being filmed before. Not sure why they cut that either.

Can't recall hearing about that one. Was going to check what I have of the script, but on a more careful inspection just now, I only have Page 2 to 42 (sequence 4 to 339) which is up to Nightrider's crash, then page 193 to 214 (sequence 1213 to 1424) which is from the lead up to the Kirks Bridge crash to "The End".
And the call sheet I have for SATURDAY DECEMBER 3 only has the cabaret car park (Goose walking to his bike, mounting it and riding to the street) and "FAST BIKE TAKE OFF", and was the same day they did the mechanics workshop scene at Melbourne University car park. ("A p-p-piece from here .. and a p-p-piece from there").
So unfortunately I have no knowledge of the cabaret singers broken down car scene.
Last night I noticed two numbered sequences (they are all numbered) on one page with "DELETED" typed beside them, but that scene was more likely an afterthought to leave it out.
The final sequence says:
1424. CREDIT SEQUENCE.
Rock music over high contrast, undercranked POV of highway.
Extensive end credits.
