Mad Max - Fury Road…finally winding down…for now!
Re: Mad Max - Fury Road…finally winding down…for now!
I saw it again for the 11th time today. Yes, I have seen it 11 times. It is still playing here in Tampa, Florida but very limited theaters. It's interesting that most of the times I have seen it, there was always a pretty good crowd in theater. I do not want it to go away. However, when it comes on DVD, the good thing is you can watch it over and over. I love the movie so much and love Tom Hardy.

The movie is down to a new low screen count here in Australia that being just 29 now but one of them is the same cinema i've viewed it each time. I want to attend the last screening they show but they keep giving it another week a day or so before it's being listed to end each week. I'm already wondering if it'll have another week in it.. Hope so.

Still going here in Hobart - i have yet to catch my 10th viewing though.
I saw the damn thing 9 times so easily, like within the first 4 weeks, but now it's at real inconvenient times for work and family -
it's either right in the middle of the day or a little too late at night, like 9.00pm or something and being a 2 hour movie with a 6.00am alarm the next day, it makes it a real prick.

Last night I joined a breezy 'Riverside-Open-Air-Mad-Max-Fury-Road' screening.

10 is a nice number, hope ya make it before it stops screening. Sorta in the same boat here with the session times and the early rise each morning. Cinema has only been showing two screenings per day for the last 4-5 weeks, one of which has been during the day and the other after 9pm. I was going to go to the last session Wed though even though it's an after 9pm showing it was to be the last show. Was is a lovely word though in this case as sure enough it'll now be screening till Wed week but there is some good and bad news. Bad news is that last session is mid afternoon and i'll be at work so wont be catching that unless i take the day off. Good news is starting Thursday they have increased the sessions to 5 shows per day except on that last day and the preceding weekend. News gets better also. For the last 5 weeks or so it's only been showing on small screens in the cinema and is how i've viewed it the last couple of times. Seems just for today, tomorrow and Wednesday though they are showing the earlier screening back on a big screen again. I really can't help myself and will need to go and see it again on the big screen one last time. Some more good news is those large screen sessions are at 5:15pm so will give me just enough time to get there after work. Just booked me ticket then, can't wait to see this on one of them big screens again.

I wish the 3-D'S were still playing, i only got to do that once.
But now that the independent cinemas have it down here and not the giant commecial ones they're not doing the 3-D.
Bloody work, kids and girlfriends taking away my eternal ride
