That's weird. This movie is pure cinema. What kind of movies does these guys direct / produce?

FR hit something deep inside a lot of people, we're just at the beginning of -- witnessing -- it

Sorry to say, it means they lack intelligence. Or perhaps simply aren't that much into movies. Anyone liking cinema has to be blown away by FR.
It means the movie is not for them. Not everyone likes Fury Road (though majority likes it). That doesn't make those who don't like them lacks intelligence. Just like me and some people who don't care about LOTR, Star Wars, Hobbit and Harry Potter.

As much as all of us would have loved to see Max get the Interceptor back at the end I don't think it would have worked in this movie. Unless they all jumped in the Interceptor instead of the Gigahorse. Wait... That's what should have happened, Max and the girls all get in the rebuilt Interceptor as Nux blocks the canyon. Damn. That would have been great.
Yeah, at least they could show what made the Interceptor iconic (taking down bad guys) and what is Max good at (combat driving) so newcomers could appreciate how iconic the car is.

Although i don't think they all would fit in the Interceptor.
I'm pretty sure 4 ultra thin supermodels, 2 old ladies, Furiosa and Max could have fit in the Interceptor. I've fit more and larger people in smaller cars. But It probably wouldn't look good on film with people sitting on laps and what not. Perhaps Miller could have killed off a couple more to make room. :D
Lols

Still though, Furiousa couldn't lay down in the Interceptor like she did when she was dying in the Gigahorse. I would have preferred if both the Gigahorse and the Interceptor made it back to Citadel. Then the ending shot is Max driving the Interceptor away from Citadel with a homage blower shot from the opening of Road Warrior, then a couple of "Scavengers" with scarres yellow MFP Interceptors and bikes pursue after him.

No, a post like this lacks intelligence. People's opinions are their own. Whether you agree or not, the guy tried to elaborate on why he thought what he did of the film. You just childishly attacked someone who didn't have the same take as your own.

Nope, I just attacked the way people diss films just by saying "meh" without any argument, and their opinion being be all end all (which is what the original post report gave the impression).

Never did attack the poster at all, just discuted the validity of qualifying a movie (specially MMFR) as "Meh!" and it being the end of all discussion. It wasn't the poster opinion, but his friends, as he reported.

Anyone who goes "Meh!" coming out of Fury Road is probably not working on all cylinders anyway ;)

Only just realised on my 4th watch that the interceptor doesn't blow a tyre but is taken out by an explosive lance. You can see the lance been thrown in the comic con trailer.

well we did get a homage to RW at the start of the film with the blower. I seen it for the 2nd time yesterday and I watched and soaked the open up like a sponge, I just wished the chase lasted as long at the RW one :-(

Ok it really doesn't bother me much that you responded the way you did, but you seem to taking this "meh" thing super literally. I don't have a transcript of what was said between us after the movie, and I don't really know anyone who actually says "meh" in real life. It's a quick and easy way for me to convey the general feeling I got from them, that's all.

Regarding riding for 160 days and the salt field . . .

Many ocean areas around each continent, including Australia, have relatively low depths then drop off significantly. If there was widespread ocean evaporation of Australia, there would be very deep canyons around Australia that would be very difficult to navigate. It would be more realistic for the salt field to be an inland area.

I am aware the movie is just a movie, but details like these would be helpful if one was to hold a roleplaying game campaign in the Mad Max: Fury Road world.

I guess that's a decent compromise. We hear about how catastrophic even small changes in sea level can be, but using your explanation is at least better than complete ocean loss which for reasons already discussed is just too extreme.
