I'm seeing a lot WTF? type stuff out there. But I also know working screenwriters who think Fury Road is the best movie of the decade. Polarisation is often a good thing.

SHINY AND CHROME!

Thanks to the Oscar buzz, Fury Road is back in cinemas here in the US. Quite a few theaters and chains are screening it over the next week or so at various times so I'm definitely going to have to check it out!

It's 2016 and Fury Road is still playing in cinemas. This is absolutely crazy.
I am going to see it tomorrow night

^Lucky! I would love to see an iSense showing without the 3D.

Miller talks about the Black & White version again. Sounds like they've got plans for a more deluxe re-release of the blu-ray after the Oscar buzz that'll include the B&W version with more features and commentary tracks etc.

The best version of Road Warrior was what we called a "slash dupe," a cheap, black-and-white version of the movie for the composer. Something about it seemed more authentic and elemental. So I asked Eric Whipp, the [Fury Road] colorist, "Can I see some scenes in black and white with quite a bit of contrast?" They looked great. So I said to the guys at Warners, "Can we put a black-and-white version on the DVD?" There wasn't enough room. [It'll end up] on another version with commentary and other features.

I'm honestly FAR more interested in getting an audio commentary from Miller than i am in a black and white version. For starters i doubt the black and white version will be in 3D and that is the only way i watch the movie. I think i've watched it in 2D like once and 3D 20 odd times. I'm also interested in hopefully getting some more deleted scenes and making of stuff. A big two hour doco would be perfect. Sadly i couldn't really care less about a black and white version.

A soundtrack only version would be great.
So would a 2 bonus discs packed full of content like LOTR.
So would the full interviews with all the cast, they cut out so much from the special features.

Yeah i'd gladly take four commentary tracks like the extended editions of LOTR lol. ALL the deleted scenes, a two hour making of.

Imagine if we got the storyboards on a DVD, a quick slideshow with some of the soundtrack behind. That would be awesome.

There are so many things they could do that fans would love. Hopefully it grabs a few oscars and pushes them to release an Ultimate edition.
