Yeah! Unfortunately we saw way to less of them. It was funny to see the yellow/blue/red interceptors in the comic. But who was the one with the other interceptor? That was clearly the one Max drove before he took the BoB. Would that be Sarse or his partner. Taken Max's old car after they crashed theirs.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

three MFP officers and two cars...Charlie and Roop, maybe Scuttle or Sarse, but they seemed to have left behind an interceptor?? see the second panel as Joe pulls up.

I think the second car is March Hare, because one of the guys said "fellas", like in the MM opening chase, when Charlie smashed road sign

Re: Fury Road-related Comics (**POSSIBLE SPOILERS**)
I love comic books, I love collecting them and reading them, sometimes over and over again
I have not really been in to superheroes since I was a kid so most of my stuff is Movie tie ins, I have every single issue of Star Wars ever published in USA and UK, plus a bunch of Terminator, Aliens, Planet of the Apes and stuff like that. Since Mad Max is my all time favorite franchise even above Star Wars i have always wanted MM comics, the fact that this exists has brought me so much joy and the fact they are successful hopefully could lead to a full monthly series.
To give them full creative freedom and not have to worry about the official cannon being contradicted they could shift focus to some secondary characters as a lot of movie comics do. My Idea is a full time monthly series called Mad Max: MFP where the exploits of Charlei, Roop, Scuttle, Sarse, and Fifi, post MM1, that would be awesome...just seeing those yellow interceptors in one brief panel was the high lite of my comic collecting year so far, and that is after the Star Wars relaunch and everything...

Knightrider,
As with the former Star Wars Expanded Universe, I would like to see novels written about the Mad Max universe, stories occurring before and after Mad Max: Fury Road. I would very much want to read about the fall of the MFP after Max drove off with the BoB Pursuit Special.

Re: Fury Road-related Comics (**POSSIBLE SPOILERS**)
the problem Star Wars had was they tried to over explain everything, the named every background extra, got way to caught up in world building and minutia to the detriment of the over all story. It got to big and was out of control. I actually welcomed the EU reboot and am pretty happy with the switch back to Marvel so far and think the new approach is good. The comics and books should supplement the movies with smaller scale stories and not try to be bigger and more important than the movie with long 20 novel series. I am very happy with MM being at DC Vertigo, it is at home with the likes of The Preacher and Sandman.
If the same people who did the former Star Wars EU did Mad Max they might ruin it by explaining things once and for all, things that really are best as mysteries or at least ambiguous. They would probably tell how Gyro Captain became Jedidiah, or how The Dark One is actually Ziggy. While those could still make cool comics, the emphasis should be on new stories and not trying to tie down all the loose ends.
One idea could be that Max was actually wanted by the MFP after stealing the interceptor, and perhaps Fifi, unbeknownst to max, is stalling the investigation from the inside. This way they could have a story that centered around Max but never showed him in person.

Re: Fury Road-related Comics (**POSSIBLE SPOILERS**)
honestly I've read my issue several times over and I am honestly still confused about it as well. I love learning more about this iteration of mad max, but some of the panel progression is down right confussing and leaves me wondering what happened from one panel to the next. to me I was never really sure if charlie and roop made it out at all or if they were slaughtered by joe it's really a confussing page amongst others.Ol' Coyote wrote:i've just read the first issue, i didn't understand some of it. and before someone says it I am a comic book collector since I was a child I know comics well and I have never been so confussed by a comics panel depictions as I have been with this comic. I'd hope they'd make it but I want to see more cause there are some obvious modifications to the march hare and big bopper but I can't see them. I mean the bopper looks like it's a reject from back to the future part III with the box thing on the hood. but I'd be curious to see what fury road does with an mfp cruiser. keeping roop and charlie relatively in their uniforms really brings out the idea of the badcops (smegma crazies in the script). I love the idea but I want to see more then just a two pannel blub. I'd love a one off side story called Mad Max Fury road:MFP which tells the fall of the mfp as the world goes mad and justice and law breaks down.
being that this is written by Miller it's cannon enough to show that Roop and Charlie didn't make it through the moral decay. then again roop was seen watching people having sex through a rifle scope so he's not the most moral to begin with. thinking back I guess I am not surprised roop didn't make it. but charlie. and who else was with them yelling about Joe's men? was it Phi?

Re: Fury Road-related Comics (**POSSIBLE SPOILERS**)
i have read this issue about ten times, Charlie and Roop, along with another MFP member have apparently commandeered there police equipment and headed into the wastleland, it is assumed they ran away but appears they were in such a hurry that they all jumped into one car and left the other behind, it is still there in the next panel after they left.
I can sell you a set of 'lops for next to nothing.
