Thanks for your encouragement . will post some more pics when finished . It was Humvee Driver's web site that inspired me to build it . I'm going to put it up on Ebay when i finish it as the fun is in the build for me . It will have to be limited to Australia only as the base board is made with real red dust which although it is glued down , Customs hate that sort of thing

Hey Humvee Driver
Would be stoked to have them on your site . I found your site about 12 months ago ( From link at this site ) and was obsessed with your Mack model which planted the seed to build the mundi mundi lookout model . I will be finished the model this weekend so I can send more pics of the final product if you like . A friend of mine is currently building the Tanker roll-over with parts leftover from my build . If your interested , the following is a list of Kits / Modifications used to build it .
AMT Mack r685 ( For Body , Bonnet , most of interior )
AMT Mack DM600 ( for wheels , Chassis , Diffs + Transfer cases , all chrome wear , Engine )
AMT Flatbed trailer ( Custom built Tri-axle and tie-off rail , All gates custom made from soldered galvanized steel wire )
Australian conversion kit ( Sun visor , Twin air filters {custom intakes} , Right hand drive dash )
Custom Air start tank , bull-bar , rear wheel guards , long range fuel tank , exhaust system and corpse in drivers seat .
Aoshima Interceptor ( Second version with roll cage etc ) custom made radiator , nose supports , smashed nose cone .
Buggy custom made from spares box ( a lot of ford hotrod parts ) chassis and crushed roll cage from sprue .
71' Plymouth GTX for landau ( Body highly modified with styrene sheet and putty ) Flares soldered wire , aluminum tube exhaust.
Tamyia rally pit crew ( Base figures for max , dead bad cop and passenger , dying buggy driver , various tools for interceptor )

Yes, please send me whatever pics you like. The info you provided is perfect. I'm having some computer issues right now, but I'll have your work up sooner or later.

I'm so glad I inspired you to make your models!

Great work. Amazingly realistic. One of the Best Kit Bash Dioramas I have had the pleasure of seeing.

It is with heavy heart I wish to inform everyone who viewed this thread that this model was destroyed on friday when My workshop burned to the ground in an unexplained fire . My shed was full of Maritime antiques ( Many of which were of upmost importance to Queensland's seafaring history ) plus many artworks of both my own and others which included 20 years of Models . Apart from the mundi mundi lookout , I also had a half finished Bad cop Landau based on a Biante 1:18 XB and an autoart Interceptor in there as well . Insurance will replace the Interceptor but the rest is a write-off . I'd like to think i'll rebuild the Mundi Mundi diorama , but i'm just a bit broken right now . To quote MM2 , It "Lives now only in my memories "
