Looking good, Alan!
All you need is a mohawk!
You can try bolting in a piece of a floor mat or something on the front of the pads.

I did try a floor matt out of 1 a the xc,s, but the 1st fit didnt look right, ill make it smaller n see how that goes.

With the mohawk ill just wait and borrow one yours,

Will do the arms pads and get pics in daylight, and hopefully get your approval Karol. lol.

The motor home company says cant take it to death valley, i will have to look on a map n see whats the go. always a hiccup.... could be the weather there though,
and that brings me to wonder, what is the weather like in november so as to plan what kind a clothing to wear?.. I did see on the news they had fires there last week as we did in vic in feb.

Other than that just saving money, disneyland is $250 for a 2 day pass, but cant go to LA and not go there...

Excellent! Looking good. (You might consider a hot-weather option as well, though.) Where did you get the kidney belt?
I do have a gun holster but duno how ill go getn that through customs.
Actually, we don't care. :) If it's just a holster and it's in your checked baggage (hell, even if it's in your carry-on), it's not prohibited. Unless it's made from some exotic endangered species, that is.

Any particular search terms? I keep getting modern motocross belts. May have to start from scratch.

Try this item no, this is what i bought 110431269492 but this one is active, comes from china and very cheap for a starter to add what one wants.

I went to the horse shop where i bought the studs from and bought another 100, all they had, they were old stock and she lass said she will see if she can get more,
iv gone through 100 already from the 1st batch i bought.

I painted the mrs shoulder pad today so in the next week that should be coming together also.

Here's a page I found about Disneyland discounts. Don't know if it will help:

thanks a heap Jarrod

I have sent them an email regarding the package, and it seems like a great deal at around $250 to visit up to five places including universal studios and disneyland

The 1st week will be busy before the friday when the Road Warrior event starts, even though we wanted to go and have a looksie
at the event site to maybe get pics before hand, time will be short and we will be like the Griswalds trying to fit everything in.

Looks like we can only get a motorhome for 7 days as they only do 7 day blocks, still looking into though.

We also have the delema of charging a video camera so hoping we get a camper with a converter, to plug in charge it up. Do the USA have the same power points as in australia as i have no idea about this. We are looking at video cameras at the moment as we dont have one, a basic 240 volt charger one is about $500 aus, or looking on ebay they now have available ones that take AA and AAA batteries, but unsure how long the batteries last.

I found my gun holster and in the process a blackening it, i may need a wooden handle but then Kaz suggested buying a kids gun from a toy shop when we get there.

As for power, if you are on 240 that's a problem because the US is 120. Also, our plugs are probably different, but I don't know what yours look like so I can't say for sure. But I've been to New Zealand and they use the British plugs so I bet you do too. So there are two things you need to do - convert the power, and then have a plug adapter.
The good news is that many modern electronic devices (computers and maybe video cameras) are made to run off of 120 or 240, so you would just need a little adapter for the shape of the plug. But check in at a travel store or something to be sure. (or look it up on the internet).

I wouldn't think a video camera that runs on AA or AAA batteries would be very good or hold a charge very long.

It might be cheaper for you to buy a US video camera on eBay or something and then just buy an adapter for it once you take it back to Oz. You could buy one on U.S. eBay and have it shipped to an address here so that it will be here when you come over. Or buy one when you get here at one of the big discount stores.
I'm thinking of getting a hidef camera before the event if I get some more money. If I do, you could buy my current video camera at a low price. I'll let you know. (but it wouldn't be for another month or two)

Yes we are 240 volt, why do things have to be so hard to figure out, i will have to do my homework.

And yes i agree i cant see a cam that runs off AA AAA lasting all that long, but then if thats the best way we can buy a heap a batteries, do they have AA AAA
batterys in LA, i would presume they have, i think the best way is to speak to someone who has been there before. Good quality ones would be the way to go.

The battery ones are $108 aus on ebay, so cheap enough to buy and try before we leave i spose.

No doubt there will be many things more to think of before we head off.

Thanks Jarred for your help, ill buy u an aussie beer wen there lol
