Bolt-on vs. Glassed
Re: Bolt-on vs. Glassed
...sorta slow motion. he leaves the seat, goes through the windscreen, headfirst straight into the tree...right. and then, bounces back through the windscreen. by the time we got to him.. he was just sittin there trying to scream with his face ripped off......whats the matter?

Re: Bolt-on vs. Glassed
I've been working on the project for about 5 years, nearly every part has its own story to tell but I've been lucky to source some hard to find parts like an original Maxrob steering wheel in mint condition and original front and back black vinyl seats that were torn to shreds by dogs! Just need to cut the rust out, bolt on all the pieces then repsray in the same colour. Hopefully I'll have it all done for Oct 08.
Re: Bolt-on vs. Glassed
Gunmetal Grey is such a tough looking colour. I'll always remember the local gun grey HQ Monaro growing up,there was a bit of a grey craze in the early nineties. With the black wheels it will be a nice contrast and something a little different than all the others. I reckon black wheels suits any colour combination, i'm even thinking black wheels for my bopper.
Anyhow, good luck with your build and I look forward to meeting you and your pride and joy in oct.
