"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Guess I'd better add a bit of scribble to the freshly painted wall. ..nothing to say, apart from the obvious "well done Barto", but just feel like having a go. Ooooh... there's "smilies" over there to the right! maybe I should have a go at that. I'm not the most computer savvy person in the world, so this may not work, but I'm hoping to add the one that looks like Doug's face when he was taken for a ride in my mate's XA GT coupe.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, particularly around the old archives. It always annoyed me whenever I had to purge stuff, and I tried to keep copies wherever possible so posts weren't lost forever. I've always wanted to get them back online, and this was the first opportunity to do so. I wasn't sure if it would be worth the effort - from the feedback it looks like it was.

Note that the migrated posts aren't currently indexed for searching, I'll be working on doing that as well in the next few weeks (I'm still hoping to find a nice feature in the new board to do it automatically!). I'll let you know when that happens, in the mean time you'll just have to browse through all 60,000 of them manually 8-)

One other note, some people used different user names on some of the previous boards - where possible I tried to recognise those, and merge all your posts together under your current name. Obviously in some cases I will have missed these - if you spot any old posts of yours under a previous name, just let me know that old name and your current one, and I can reassign those to you.
