I've had the "pleasure" of being pulled over in Texas. Trooper spent 30 mins searching my vehicle. His reason was that I "seamed nervous". I think it's cuz I'm a long hair. They take that old saying to heart -"Don't mess with Texas!" Not much desire for me to ever go back.

Good luck in front of the courts. I hope it gets thrown out.

Just read the paper and talked with me lawyer. The case was dismissed! The article is on the back of Tuesday's Metro section, for those in SA. A shame we all won't be meeting in person in court to hear the judge laugh at the case, but being free is all the same. Best of luck to those out of towners planning on sueing, and Fenner, let me know when the next Mad Max even occurs! I may refrain from setting up the zip gun this time...

It has all been dropped from what I understand. Both the obstructing charges against the twelve and also the weapons charges against the others. Sure is nice to feel vindicated "LACK OF EVIDENCE"...... From what I heard both the hired off duty officer and the photographs (time stamped) that I shared with the prosecutors were instrumental in the dismissal....... So thanks to those of you that took those pictures and "Hell yes share them now!" post them every were you can, roll the tape. Let the world see the truth and the fun that was had..... I'll be riding my KZ tomorrow and for the next few day in celebration (and not just because the weather is better :-).......

I just read the news article......GGGGGRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr "THERE WERE NO MACHINE GUNS!!!!!! REAL FAKE OR OTHER WISE!!!!!!!!" I mean come on we (those at ROADWAR 151) are fans enough to at least get that right........... The only thing close was Joe Don's zip/air gun thing didn't look like a machine gun even at 60-70 MPH. But did inspire thoughts of RW and the arrow/air guns in the film...........Damn news people...............

Hell, Fenner, I'm just glad it's all over. I heard from a coworker that had heard a blurb about it on NPR this morning, which was amusing. Still making national headlines, I see. ^_^

Hi , well now that the CRAP is over I can talk......strict orders from the lawyer dude! I went and got a copy of all the CRAP that the police put in the report and it is no wonder that we got dismissed, but of course the pound of flesh was extracted from us by way of lost days of work and fees from the lawyer dude. My security clearance was rejected and my CHL revoked........the CHL will be easier to get back than the TS clearance, jury is still out on that part. I am the one who has the black and white Caprice........and yes it has the green hose's, and a LT-1 corvette engine cause it WAS a trooper car! The good thing about this whole episode is that my wife has allowed me the pleasure of purchasing a 95 impala SS.......IT is identical to the 95 DPS car as far as the engine and running gear, although it does not have the green hoses on it. I would love to get together for that beer so chris lemme know.
