bike like this will run with no silencers, just difficult to start and sooner or later likely to burn out a few exhaust valves

One, on the beach, the Toecutter fires a shotgun blast straight up in the air. I've never had the guts to try it, so what are the odds that the shot would come back down on the group of them?

I don't think the bullet would come down. I don't know much about guns, but up in my neck of the woods, shotguns are fired when the old year moves into the next. And they fire straight up in the air. I've stood as a little girl and watched the neighbours fire off their shotguns.

Hope this helps. Maybe someone with gun experience will answer.

Toecutter blows off what looks like BOTH BARRELS right next to his ear. How does he NOT loose his hearing?.. at least temporarily...that eternal ringing..even one barrel would be painfull.

shottys fire Ballbearings - not only was TOECUTTER's shotty so long barrelled that the 'shot would have gone so far up, it woulda veered off and landed nowhere near you - but if the bearings did land on ya, you'd hardly feel it.

yup, bol dor anytime for me though, hard to watch where Max u-turns and runs the bikes off the bridge...guess this wasn`t a scene with too many reshoot possibilities
