So those Capris were built form what year and ended in what year?I know Ford North America imported them here in the USA/Canada and they stopped selling e, in 78? i think as the new fox platformed Mustang came out in 79 and used the Capri name for the Mercury version and i know of this specialSouth African?V8 version and i've seen in OZ alot of Capris with a 351 C swap or Chevy swap or Holden V8 swap.

Err Neckbrace I think you have the wrong end of the stick old chap! The show is nowhere near London, it is in the Scottish Borders.


And there were NO capri's used in the film at all they were Aussie Ford Falcon's

yes madmax2050 you are rite, i have looked on the map again for scotish boarders and found it, it looked closer cos the map woz folded


i have looked on the mad max film and yes it is the black car i was taking about, there must call it a falcon in austria

Uhm, Necky, those pictures are to illustrate the differences between the Falcon and the Capri. You can always tell a Capri apart from a Mustang and a Falcon because it has a curved rear-quarter window. Any car which does not have a curved rear-quarter window is not a Capri.


Hey BBB, the MK3 Capri, with that chassis shape above, was built from 1978 to 1987. The MK2, which looks very similar, was built from 1974 to 1978 and looks like this:Image
