Err Neckbrace I think you have the wrong end of the stick old chap! The show is nowhere near London, it is in the Scottish Borders.
And there were NO capri's used in the film at all they were Aussie Ford Falcon's
Think you need to go watch the film again mate!!

Uhm, Necky, those pictures are to illustrate the differences between the Falcon and the Capri. You can always tell a Capri apart from a Mustang and a Falcon because it has a curved rear-quarter window. Any car which does not have a curved rear-quarter window is not a Capri.
Hey BBB, the MK3 Capri, with that chassis shape above, was built from 1978 to 1987. The MK2, which looks very similar, was built from 1974 to 1978 and looks like this:
