Good news; bad news..... according to http://www.pamedia.com/cpgames/ , Deathtrack was re-made in 2000. They say that it's available but it looks like the site hasn't been updated since 2002. I guess somebody did get a clue but there was no support for it; I never saw it in stores or even heard of it. A great site anyway; I never heard of a lot of those games before. I'm itching to play them, but in any case, was entertaining. Later......

Ok one of these old games is really bugging me, because I can't remember what it was called...

It was standard Maxified fodder. You start out as a dude in black leathers (or close, he was pretty nondescript), with a basic, black sports car, which you could get further mods and upgrades for as you ran and drove around towns and buildings, capping and avoiding radioactive mutants, it was a top down view, had driving sections and on foot too. If anyone has any idea *which* Max ripping game this was, could they post it up here?

Thanks.

If you go to the main page, scroll the frame down to the Merchandise section, because there is info about MM-style games.

I've been trying to remember the name of a certain non-MM game. You had different missions to complete. You would have 1 or robots to control. I think before the actual playing would start, you could plan the movement of the robots. When playing, you could switch beteen robots to manually control them. You could also reprogram their courses. The game predetermined the number and types of robots you could have for each mission. The three types were:

1. A yellow one which looked a bit like a duck

2. A blue humanoid(2 arms and 2 legs)

3. A red scorpion

Each robot type had its own strengths and weaknesses.

Does this game sound familiar to anyone?

I looked for both of these, but without success on either. Sowwy! First one sounds like AutoDuel plus leather. Second one is tickling a memory I just can't put a finger on. That will drive me crazy. If you do a Google search on what platform it was made for, the search would probably go quicker. Better yet, dive through the old books you had. Maybe there is an instruction manual in there somewhere. Once the name is remembered; the rest is easy. Guaranteed, somebody has it available for download. Or Google 'abandonware games'. Maybe that will also tickle a memory. Y'all know more about them than I do, so I'm sure you will have more success! Good Luck, and please report......

Finished autoduel not long ago, its damn hard. For anyone trying to beat it there is a playguide around on the net. just google it. For a helping hand do the casino cheat it mentions. I tried without it and almost killed myself in frustration. My tips for auto duel.

1)Paint sprayer at the back with machine guns

2) machine guns and the recoiless rifle are the best weapons, all else are crap

3)max out all the wheels, chassis etc armour on the sides and back of the car, underneath needs hardly any armour, and add at the front till your jst under the weight limit.

4) get enemies to chase you around, paint spray them, blast them. works every time.

5) always fuel up.....ALWAYS

6) if you use tha casino cheat, buy many cars and leave them around the map. then you can simply catch buses from place to place.

How does the damn thing turn out, Kodiak? I never got past the subcompact-with-a-bb-gun-in-front part of it.
