Yikes Phil, you have been busy! Apart from the Monaro on ebay I thought there was only one other in the US currently.

Mitch, $6000 is definitely a good price for that car, especially already landed in the USA. The owner still needs to clean up the description though so that people know exactly what they're getting. The car has definitely had modifications made to it, and even if the current owner doesn't know exactly what was done, it would be easy enough to work out if he can post the plate info.

I know of the guy who is brought in the Coupe and the Monaro, pretty nice cars I would imagine from the last couple he brought in.

I have a monaro (HQ)due in myself...it was due about 2 weeks ago, but with all the dramas at the West Coast ports( a dock strike has made a mess of things, especially exports like I do mainly), looks like it will be about the 8th of this month until it finally arrives.

Hey OzHemi,

Who imported the XB and the HQ? Would be good to get in contact with them and find out what other Aussie cars have been imported. There is a Aussie Car registry maintained by Tom Nuss, it contains the owners name, car model and location of all the known Aussie cars in the US today. We know there a several if not 10s of other out there such as that XB and the HQ on Ebay. So if you could point me in the direction to contact them it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

He is from Queensland, also brought in another XB, an XY GT, and a one tonner Holden (all at the same time.) I can get with him and see if he wants to be know around, or prefers to stay more annoymous, not sure how he feels off hand.

I brought in 2 holdens myself, 2 Chargers, and 2 XB utes. I have a Monaro on the way as I mentioned, and have another container coming in the end of this year as well... Got 2 vehicles for it now, and will line up the other 2 in the next few weeks I think.

Hey OzHemi

Wow,

Have you got some pics of these cars mate?

I know of the guy in CA, hmmm, his cars weren't legal imports when he bought them in, but hey guess he got lucky. The XY GT is owned by a guy named Brian in CA, he also has an XB & XC Coupe. The Holden 1-tonner is up for sale again as well, going pretty cheap to, I think US$9k and it's a nice looking machine, custom paint, 17" rims, looks cool. He also imported a Torana with that lot and a Charger.

I know which XB Coupe that is know I have other photos of it, I have a pic of all 5 cars lined up next to each other somewhere in CA.

Let us know where the cars you imported are now.

Email me at mailto:[email protected] I'd like to chat some more.

Thanks

See ya
