Gastanksian wrote:Wow! So often I see sculpts that are of a character and the face looks nothing like the real thing. Yours on the other hand is like looking at Furiosa espacially as a good chunk of the film was done in poor light and with grey filters. It is excellent work. I wish you lots of success as your work deserves recogniton.
Thanks for the compliment,
Gastanksian. I have to say, I am not happy with the likeness quite yet. I will be working on her face till I finish the whole figure. Again, thanks for the kind words, though.

Honestly, when you're done, you have GOT to cash in and sell off a few of these, i would totally buy one.

Well, I am doing this for Roswell Japan, so any copies off of this one will be sold by them.
I gave up on the boots. There are too many variations in the movie, so I have decided to just combine parts I like. The lower body is close to be done but I have not put all the details yet.
I have been putting off working on her prosthetic arm actually pretty much her entire left arm...It is confusing to me Again they differ scene by scene......But I need to get to it.
Thanks for looking.

Yeah that's the problem with making the vehicles from the films too - continuity is a bastard on all 4 Mad Max movies, so when you have conflicting screengrabs, you just gotta pick the most common look out of the 3

I understand that they have to switch around the outfit for stunt version, close up version and such but it gets pretty crazy especially her prosthetic arm as they have to draw in some details later.
Spent close to a week on the arm. I am very sick of working on her now..... I probably need another week to complete...

No. SOTA never released that one you are thinking about. There were at least 2-3 companies tried to make Herbert West figures but none made their products to be released.
The one I have is a retro style, 3.75 inches one that came out from Monstarz line of Amoktime Toys this year. They are planning to release 7 inches tall, highly articulated one, and they were taking pre-orders but like others, having issues releasing it. I have darn good guess why.
Here is the link if you want the Herbert West figure

I was asked to put the goggle. Made it too small so re-making it. It is getting to be never ending project.
