I've tried YouTube, iTunes and Amazon, but non of them will let me buy it over here. I've tried those 'unlock blocked videos in your country' things as well, to no avail. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Is it this anthology: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Mad-Max-A ... ay/132071/ Because I can't find anything mentioning the bts documentary. And that's the only reason I would buy it, since I already have 3/4 of the movies.Turbofurball wrote:It's on the BluRay anyway, so we'll get it then if not beforeMudalini wrote:I was wondering if anyone knew anything about a UK release? Is there anyone on here outside of the US who has been able watch this yet?
I'm in NZ and would very much like to see it.
It is maddening that it's not available to purchase. I've been driven to try desperate things, things I'm not proud of.
The only legitimate sources I can find are the Youtube, Amazon and Google Playstore pay to view facilities. None of these will work for me in New Zealand, because I'm not based in the US. There seems to be no official website, so I cannot find out when it will be available here, when and if it will ever be published on physical media.
None of the legitimate providers will give information, Google/Youtube will not even show results in their search engine. This sort of thing is why people who are otherwise honest are driven to download illegally.

Re: The madness of The Madness of Max
I have to agree. It becomes very frustrating when a film studio or distribution company does not make things like this readily available. I feel the same way about the awesome 'Jaws' documentary 'The Shark is still working'. I only ever saw the whole thing in its entirety once like 5 years ago online on youtube. Since then Universal bought it and only made it available on the blu ray special on 'Jaws'. That is fine because I own that blu ray, but that version has been cut down to only show and discuss the original Jaws and none of the sequels, cutting out about an hour of the original running time of the documentary which I actually liked and want to see again. When they monopolies media like this, its no wonder why some people seek other means of acquiring cool stuff like this new Mad Max documentary which I will buy, but not at the expense of replacing my old Mad Max blu ray collection, unless I feel it is really worth it.mfpnz wrote:Is there anyone on here outside of the US who has been able watch this yet?

Really annoyed about how theyve released this one. I already have all the films on bluray (including the ridiculously expensive fury road limited edition on preorder) and now I have to buy them all again to watch this documentary. Wish it was available as a separate purchase in its own case. Why this wasnt included as a limited edition on the recent Mad Max Shout Factory release I dont know...that would have been fantastic. I feel like a Star Wars fan being given the finger by George Lucas at the moment!

Not a fan of the distribution of this documentary either even though it is available online, it's not available in a whole bunch of countries. I tried getting it on Google play - no go. Warnervod - blocked. I'm not going to download iTunes just to get it because I don't need any Apple crap on my computer, probably just to find out it's not available too. Shame!

Re: Madness of Mad Max Documentary is available now
All I wanted was a 3D copy of Fury Road and the Madness doco, now I have three copies of Fury Road and extra copies of all the other movies I don't need, capitalism at its finest. I will be giving all the extra copies away to friends who don't have them. Absolutely loved the doco though, hung on every word.
