Oh hell I just remembered...
It's not the 'best' reference out there, in fact it's the complete opposite.
Fury Road inspired a videoclip by David Guetta & Nicki Minaj feat. some pop abominations, so if you feel like seeing this bootleg ass Fury Road on a shoestring budget then here it is:

This is what happens when Fury Road gets thrown in the cogs of the music industry, just look at those clowns LOL.

Fallout 4 comes out in November and the dog returns.
It's not the same breed in Fallout 4 though, looks like a German Shepherd.
Yeah I saw that. But the developers did say that the dog can't die. So that's cool. I got really attached to him in Fallout 3.

Ooh, just remembered - Carmageddon TDR2000 (the third Carmageddon game) has a BoB in it, and one of the levels has bits of the MM2 Compound.

Not sure I agree with all of those ... The Postman doesn't even have any cars in it, or any shots or scenarios from the MM films, for instance. It's post-apocalyptic, but that's it.

I agree on The Postman, and whatever you think about the movie, the book was better. The movie only covered about half of what the book does and it has some surprises the movie doesn't even hint at.

Two well-known mid eighties music videos, 'Don't Lose My Number' by Phil Collins, and 'Wild Boys' by Duran Duran have overt references to MM2.
Phil Collins:

Duran Duran:
