The shooting is the last few months of this year. I'm one of the crowd funding contributers. So I get regular updates with all sorts of inside information. This one will even be more over the top than the first Iron Sky

I need to get around to watching Iron Sky, I have it on DVD and halfway through the first time watching it my ex decided to start a particularly nasty argument ... for quite a while I didn't want to bring back that memory, but it's long past and I can't remember what it was even about now! Might watch it tonight :)

Try to get the director's cut. 20 extra minutes. I have two of them on Blu-ray. Both personally signed by Timo Vuorensola. Yes, I contributed a lot with all the crowd funding campaigns

+1

Any of these would be cool. I often wonder if anything like this was filmed for Fury Road, especially since you can briefly see Max in a clean MFP uniform while trying to revive the little girl in his visions. There should be more of Max learning to scavenge and survive also...more scenes like in RW (collecting the gas and searching at Mundi Mundi, etc) and how he copes with food and water shortages.

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for that :)

I even contributed the crowd funding campaign for Laibach to make there North Korea tour they are doing at this moment.
So, I also have the double LP of the Laibach Iron Sky Director's Cut Motion Picture Soundtrack (including double CD) That I already played several times :D 8-)

But that is to name a few of the many things I have at home of the Iron Sky franchise.

Miller spent a lot of money on world building,
and you see 20% of it on the screen.

The good news is,
that all that work is done (sans flucking it up in the comics).

And he can pretty much spend his efforts on agendas.

That could even be done as a TV series. Set it as a cop show, except in the MFP world. As the series progresses, the world gets progressively worse. From a few sporadic murders and vehicular homicides in episode 1 to 4 and the investigation into them, to the emergence of the Armalite gangs from unemployed and bored workers in episode 5-8. Meanwhile the beginings of the petrol wars are taking effect with petrol rationing and the government cutting budgets trying to hold it all together. The police are overworked, the legal system is backlogged as courts are under resourced. Until the series ends with a yellow pursuit car chaising a biker down the road and a mushroom cloud appear on the horizon in front of them. They both pull over, and stand beside their vehicles. "What now?" asks the biker, a large muscular imposing figure. "Dunno. This changes everything" replies the MFP officer, his face illuminated red in the glow.

Wish I could have been in Pyongyang for that, but I'll just have to be satisfied with having seen them in Indianapolis back in May. Something tells me they may be on the verge of some big breakthrough on the world stage.
