The big day for me is Monday, 18 May probably an afternoon showing to avoid the big crowds.

We gotta seriously try as hard as we can to not reveal any spoilers without major warnings before we start typing, guys!!!

I know we'll be full of comments and queries and yelling, but the people who haven't seen it yet will kill us if we give away important bits that arn't common knowledge yet

Looks like the 14th here too......but the staff at the local cinema can't confirm, I have to check back Sunday!!!AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHH.
It's a school nite, but the young bloke is as keen as me....so he gets a leave pass with Dad ;)
The local cinema is no longer giving away the posters out of the windows or light boxes, the last one I got was for Fast and Furious 6. They only have 2 "coming soon" Fury Road ones. But I may just score one, I've anoyed the staff so much in the lead up that they may hand one over just to shut me up!!!

My local theater isn't on the first release so I'm taking the 45 min trip to Poughkeepsie to see it at the mega-plex theater. It'll probably be a little warm for my Abbyshot leather but I'll be wearing it anyway. I'll see it again locally when it comes (both 2D and 3D) but I'm most looking forward to it showing at the drive-in.

I'm all booked in for next Thursday 14th, 3pm show! Just a shame all my local cinemas are all strictly 3d showings  I don't like it but I'm hoping it wont be too intrusive or even surprise me a bit!!

Just as much if not more excited though for this Saturday, the same cinema is showing MM1 and MM2 as a double bill from 9pm to 12.30am - Only for one night!!!. NEVER seen a Max movie at cinema as was too young to get in for the first two (born in 1968) and it just never happened for MM3. Really cannot wait for this!!! I very, very much doubt that the opportunity would ever arise to see MM1/MM2 on a big screen ever again, certainly never again in my home town for sure.

It makes you wonder why they don't release older films more often for big screens?? Would love for example to see Jason & The Argonauts from 1963 on a big screen or even something like Conan The Barbarian? I can remember seeing rereleases of Alien & The Thing as part of a Halloween all nighter back in 1998, and loved them as again I was too young to see 18 certs at the cinema back in 79 and 82.
