When they chased Max, is it a bit sped up ? Feels like that chase in the cave in Thunderdome lol not complaining at all. Feels like i'm seeing an old Mad Max trailer. Hardy's accent a bit odd to me.

Yeah it was sped up there for a second! It's probably for the sake of the trailer, they did the same thing in the 18 sec preview on Saturday I think...?Ol' Coyote wrote:When they chased Max, is it a bit sped up ? Not gonna lie though, seeing that Interceptor in that cave breaks my heart a little. It's like seeing a corpse being mutilated.
One thing that let me down in the trailer is that they showed the War Rig getting flipped.
I'm about to watch Furious 7 today and i'm excited for it but this trailer has made me wish the one i'm about to see is Fury Road instead of Furious 7 and i'm a fan since the first one. That's how hyped i am.
2015 BELONGS TO THE MAD !

The general reception on Facebook and Twitter is quite..positive..to say the least.Artemis Flow wrote:The comments on Facebook are going sick people are loving this
I honestly think the film will be successful, financially so, especially with pumping out promotional stuff like this. It may not be a $300 million opener in the US but it'll open strong and overseas market will be bigger.

This movie is going to be huge. I expect those sequels to get made.

Is it safe to say this will be the final trailer before the premiere? What do you guys think?

I hope it is the final one. They can't show more without spoiling it.Taipan wrote:Is it safe to say this will be the final trailer before the premiere? What do you guys think?

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road MAIN TRAILER
I don't see how they can spoil this movies story. We all guessed what the story is about and what will happen. But yeah. The boys at Warner Bros smell like they are scared and desperate to get back their 150 million dollar investment back on this R rated film. Fuck them. George Miller is more concerned about the fans and did not sell out to get a PG 13 rating. I will see it in the cinema at least two times and by the Blu Ray and place it next to my other Max Max collection.Ol' Coyote wrote:I hope it is the final one. Re: Mad Max: Fury Road MAIN TRAILER
To be honest I think this is the worst of the Fury Road trailers and spots so far. The 2015 first official trailer and 'retribution' had me in fits of ecstasy, but this - and the release of the posters yesterday - has probably grounded me a bit. Don't get me wrong I've been an obsessive mad max fan since 1982 but I was starting to think this might be the second coming. If I had to name the three magic ingredients of Max it would be The Edit, The Sound and the Cinematography...and the other trailers had those in spades. Aside from the beautiful split second sunset wide shot of the truck i can't see that here. Don't hate me for this but I can't be the only one who isn't quite so staggered to tonight. I'm being fussy obviously, but mad max has been in my life for most of my life. Whatever, the next few weeks - as we run up to the release - are going to be some of the most exciting of my life and I look forward to sharing it with you all here.
