A few thoughts:

1. "Exposing trolls" is not going to stop them from trolling. Exposure is kind of the point. Ignoring trolls works much better.

2. However, I'm not opposed to being able to read the stupidest comments from various sites. It helps one to feel a little smarter and more cultured.

3. I'm a little bemused by the whole "looks like a video game" thing. What younger audiences may not realize is that they've got the situation reversed. Post-apocalyptic video games look like the Mad Max universe (specifically The Road Warrior) and not the other way around.

4. I am always confused by "fans" who make judgments about a movie after watching a 2 and 1/2 minute trailer on a computer screen. And I'm also confused by how many say things like, "I love Mad Max..." or "I love Star Wars" or whatever and then proceed to nitpick and criticize a movie they have not even seen, claiming to be disappointed and even outraged.

I'm looking forward to Fury Road and to reading more unfounded and unfocused troll outrage.

That is what I gathered from this topic. But I guess Darth saw it another light with his own perspective. I for one liked the topic, and YouTube is facepalm central, some of the posts make me cringe. They like to be an expert on the subject, without facts research etc.. And end up looking the fool. Lesson 1. Think before you type and speak for that matter.

I know right...the Millennial Gen is annoying sometimes with their exclamation of IP "originality" for films/games/shows etc. No excuse with the info access they have today. Pretty much all recent "post-apoc" stuff was inspired from George Miller & Mel Gibson's Mad Max series - Borderlands, Fallout, Rage, Twisted Metal, Book of Eli yada yada...now get off my lawn ya hooligans lol!

Nope, I'm 200% certains these aren't trolls. These are genuine instant reactions from know it all who don't know shit.

Some of these are trolls. Some of them are ignorant and uninformed. And some of them simply cannot communicate without moving their thumbs, tweeting, or posting on Facebook.

Only after they have tweeted out their nonsense do they maybe stop to think about what they just posted.

My impression of some of this is to liken it to a fart in a subway car. They let it slip, walk away before anyone smells it, then make a point of looking disgusted when someone else wrinkles their nose.

This is so much MAD FEMMAX that it can't work, it simply isn't possible to remake this movie with so feminised cast and without proper hard male characters
