Does anyone know if the vehicles that were used in Nambia were shipped back to Australia?

Found this comment on an AICN talkback. Sounds legit.
My friend's sister was an editor on this. I actually asked her recently when it was coming out, she said not for another year at least. Apparently they went over budget, and needed more money to reshoot some stuff at the end of the movie. Studio execs flew in and met with Miller, and he screened what they had so far. Anyway, it went over well. Also, she said there's a lot of visual effects work in this one, which might be a little disappointing to hear. Even so, she said the movie's actually quite good, and that Miller's happy with it. You heard it here first, people...

More shooting to do on Mad Max in middle of Nov. Great to be working but it sucks that I have to shave my head again and be bald for Xmas.

I found a link to a page which has some info on the extra three weeks of fiming, which is apparently meant to buff up an action sequence that went over the original budget, but now has been approved by WB. I have posted the link here:

Rumor: FURY ROAD Is Great, Reshoots Are Good News

Time to get excited: we hear the new Mad Max movie is awesome.

Published October 01, 2013 by Devin Faraci

Whither Fury Road? The return to the Mad Max universe, starring Tom Hardy as Mad, went through delays in advance, troubles in production and has now, seemingly, disappeared. The last we heard was that the film was going back for reshoots, which made everybody kind of nervous. After all the trouble was the movie terrible, and in dire need of saving?

I have not seen the movie yet, but I spoke with someone who has, and the verdict: it's awesome. Fury Road is awesome. According to my source the movie is, end to end, a badass chase filled with incredible action. Apparently Tom Hardy is still using his Bane voice here, but since Max only has a handful of lines it isn't too bad - and maybe they can dub him, as an homage to the original Mad Max.

Most importantly my source says that the reshoots are intended to beef up the big bookending action sequences. George Miller created an action sequence taking place on a vehicle elevator, and he couldn't get the budget to fully realize it. When the studio saw what he had done with the rest of the movie they gave him the money to go back and make the vehicle elevator sequence sing.

There's still more work to be done on the film; I understand it's a little long right now. But if you've been as worried as I have been about Fury Road, this will be music to your ears. I was ready to write this movie off as a sad disaster, but maybe it's one of those against-all-odds triumphs.

A couple of notes. What other movies with wall to wall action does this source rate as "awesome"? If the answer is Transformers 3 or Battleship, then his opinion means little to me. At this point, we know nothing of his taste in movies, so I take his opinion with a grain of salt, particularly since he has yet to see the completed movie.

Second, the 'Bane voice' thing makes little sense to me. Why would Miller have him talk like that? It's a bit worrying to me, though it won't mean a whole lot if his dialogue is minimal.

Bomber; yes most of the non-destroyed vehicles have returned to Australia, everything else was sent to scrap metal unfortunately.

I'm assuming then that they are part of the upcoming reshoots?
