Badass truck I always liked that year model and body style of Ford trucks and Broncos. Not as much as the 67-72 Chevy trucks and K5 Blazers but they run a very close second. Looks like a killer start to cool project not much rust and rot from what I can see in the pictures. Hope to see more of this build as it progresses.

Not much to update. I tore the rotted piece of wood outta the bed only to find actor Edward James Olmos's face  Image and I painted the rear bumper

I'm having some issues trying to start it as I would turn the key and when i'd shut it off it would keep trying to crank. I thought it was the ignition switch, but I swapped it for a new one and its still doing it. :x

I had the same issue with my charger bart, the starter would keep cranking,I used to pull the live off the battery to stop it once the car was running, eventually the starter shit its self and i replaced it.
The chain in those handcuffs is high-tensile steel, it'll take you ten minutes to hack through it with this, now if your lucky ? you can hack through your ankle in five minutes. Go !

I had the same problem with my X1/9 after it was stored away in a garagebox for 9 years. After each first start when cold it kept cranking for about 10/15 seconds. It turned out to be the starter motor relais that got stuck. I just replaced the starter motor with a spare one. That solved the problem.

And that's one holy flatbed you got there.

Ok I fixed the starting prob with a new solenoid after I bought a dud at the local parts store thinking that wasn't the prob before and sanding the connections and cleaning them plus replacing a fried connector wire helped it too.Now I have a new prob but thankfully its being corrected by borrowing my brothers brand new never used 600 Holley carb. My old Edelbrock is officially fuxored. As for the bed,for now I will place a piece of plywood there until I can cut out the bottom of another bed as I found out all the way to 1996 I can use the bed floor for my truck, that or I will built a steel flatbed for it.
