What is Max's full first name?
Don't know if this has ever come up, but isn't Max actually a nickname? And if so, does that mean his real first name would be something weird like Maximillion?

I thought it was just Max Rockatansky. Maybe his parents called him Maxwell....

Didn't Goose call him Maximilian in one scene? Right before he take him to see the Interceptor I believe.
I would think the book would be specific although there are many points it differs from the cannon of the movie...

The book is slightly different from the film.
In the book the Chief (Macaffee) takes Max to see the BoB and not Jim Goose.
Also in the book the BoB is turbo-charged and does not have a supercharger.
There are more different details but not that important.
In this whole part only the name Max is used.

"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

I think "Maxie" and "Max" both come from "Maximilian". "Maxie" seems to hint that he has a longer name.
