Like-minded Mad Mad Nuts,

Thanks for the interest in the up-coming unofficial video, we shot over 4 & 1/2 hours of footage, mostly the locations when we a group of us ' hard-core' fans we on a pilgrimage to find all the sites, also a fair bit of coverage on the cars that were there and some interviews. We covered it all from an unofficioal point-of-view - just like most of us you just turned up to see what it was all about.

There is a lot of work to put it together so it makes sense to anyone who was not there as well, should be ready in a couple of weeks.

For a copy either email me, I will start an order list, or monitor this forum and will notifiy as soon as finished.

Death MFP, I like your style,

It should be about 15-30 mins long (so it does not get boring, fast paced) we started editing on the weekend, there is some classic footage there - of the locations, cars and of course the people who made it there (wrinkles your a star!) I think we captured what it was all about and it is very much from a 'fans point of view'.

We are not doing it for the money so it will be at about cost price plus postage to you, please email your order(email on my name link) and will notify asap.

Dear All,

We are editing this Sunday again, hopefully most of it will be finished over coming 2-weeks ( its turned out to be a LOT of work all this editing stuff). Should have a 3-minute trailer posted on the Net for streaming in the next couple of days.

As we get closer I will keep everyone up to date.

Can I just ask that you don't cut it too much? What I mean is, that for example the short film on the MAD MAX 2 DVD showing some of the stunt work etc ..it just leaves you wanting more. Even if it means repeating the same thing/shot type of conversation etc from different angles it will surely put over the atmosphere of the event to the people who couldn't make it.

Just another thought , maybe you could make/edit the film how you want it so it is slick and then at the end have ' shots that nearly made it

into the main program and are to good to miss out ' if you know what I mean.

Don't get me wrong , I think its great that there will soon be a video/DVD available and I can't wait .

So sign me up for a Region 2 DVD .

All Mad Max Nuts,

Editing of the unoffical video is going really well, it will not be like any other video production made about that weekend. It appears that there is too much good stuff to edit so it looks like about a 1/2 hour long production at this stage. Lots and lots of good footage and I really think we captured what is was all about. Also, it will make sense to anyone who is not a mad max fan as well.

Although both me and Jim are busy with day jobs we have set a deadline to have it finished at the end of this month (August) no trailer as yet we just want to finsih it and get it distributed to all you want a copy. As soon as it is finshed I will post it here!

Where can I get one of these vids, Broken Hill is classified in my mind as one of lifes best experiences to date. Seeing all our Ford Coupes at one event was fantastic. If you dont remember me I was in the Black Landau with the blue light. Anyway I am really hanging to see some other footage of the event.
