I'm 44 and I have seen MM2 in a theatre. I remember as if it was yersterday!

In August, 1982, during the dead season, two days after the releasing of MAD MAX 2, 60 000 Parisian had seen it.

I found the information in the newspaper LIBERATION. I bought it on August 17th 1982. 35 000 spectators the first day, and 25 000 the second day. The movie was available in 39 Parisian cinemas.

Honestly, In France the Mad Max movies are such popular as the Star Wars movies. It's cult there. Hehe, Bertrand Cadart ... 8-) And now let me get a cold shower ...
