I found the information in the newspaper LIBERATION. I bought it on August 17th 1982. 35 000 spectators the first day, and 25 000 the second day. The movie was available in 39 Parisian cinemas.

Honestly, In France the Mad Max movies are such popular as the Star Wars movies. It's cult there. Hehe, Bertrand Cadart ...
