MM1 .wav files

Post by MFP 2020 »

I used to have these on my website. Long story short: now I don't. If anyone is interested in having .wav files of some of the dialogue from MM1 in the dubbed American version, you can get them all here, for a limited time:

http://web.me.com/curtisg65/filechute/mm%20sounds.zip

Not sure how limited. If they're inaccessible, PM me and we'll work it out.

Wait, dubbed?

Hmm, not sure if want.

If anything takes my fancy I'll sample it for music purposes.

An obscure Norwegian band (but I repeat myself) had that same idea once: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys8-dcpa8Nc

I'm on the lookout for the US Dubbed DVD,

Missed out on an original Region 1 on eBay last year.

Anyone got one?

I have two of them. One is the actual US version before the Special Edition,so it is US dubbed and I have one I got from Japan that was SUPPOSED to be the Aussie dialog, but is actually the US version and region 2.Where are you located? The easiest way to tell if one is US dubbed is to play the Night Rider ranting over the radio. In the US dub,he actually sound like a man,in the Aussie version he sounds like a school girl on speed.Cheers,Bill

Mate,

I'm in Hoppers Crossing, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (only a short drive from where all the locations were for Mad Max). The one I was chasing on eBay last year was with the original type cardboard outer/plastic base DVD covers, referred to as
'The US Dubbed Release' (Image/Orion DVD release) as per this example:

If you're willing to part with one of yours, drop me all the details and let me know! This'll be my birthday present.

Many thanks,

Mark

Yeah,

But they've used a stock photo in their image, so no way of guaranteeing I'll receive a US dubbed version.

Managed to score one off eBay and it arrived today,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEWNX:IT

Pretty good for only 7.19 USD and 4.00 USD shipping, totalling 11.19 USD. Only paid 10.91 AUD.

Even came with a Beyond Thunderdome... bargain!

There is another one available online if anyone wants it:

That. Is. Horrible.

OMG WTF did they do? What were they trying to do? That was the audio equivalent of the transformers movie, a horrible mishmash of no ideas.
