Tickets
Tickets for Wasteland Weekend 2011 are now available! Prices start at $55 and increase incrementally. As a thank you to those who attended the first Wasteland Weekend, we are offering the first 50 returning wastelanders $15 off of their ticket price - which means you can enjoy Wasteland Weekend again for only $40!* Just enter “WW2010” when you purchase your ticket. For ticket pricing and purchasing info, go to http://wastelandweekend.com/?page_id=13.
Vendors
Have something to sell in Bartertown? We are now accepting vendor applications. There’s no better place than the world’s largest post-apocalyptic gathering to sell your leather goods, goggles, prop weapons, used sports equipment, tattoo services or to feed hungry survivors. Read up on the requirements for becoming a Wasteland Weekend vendor at

Costume Tips
Since costumes are mandatory at Wasteland Weekend, we are working hard to make our website the premiere post-apocalyptic costuming resource on the Internet. We know that by investing in your costuming skills, we are investing in the future of Wasteland Weekend. Look for our new series of posts by featured costume makers, beginning with UK costume maker Philip Brown. http://wastelandweekend.com/?p=760.
Tribes
Beginning this year, Wasteland Weekend will be encouraging attendees to form what we call “tribes.” If you and a group of friends want to go all-out and build a group identity through coordinated costumes and a fully themed encampment, contact us for theme suggestions and possible perks. (We already have tribes of amazons and cannibals in the works - what’s your theme going to be?)
Don’t forget to “like” our Facebook page, even if you are already a friend of our Facebook profile. (“Profiles” and “Pages” are two different things on Facebook and we will be closing our profile sometime in the near future). http://www.facebook.com/wastelandweekend
See you in the wasteland!

Re: Tickets are now on sale
Hey Karol, I just wanted to say that everything is looking good and you've got some great ideas in there. Have you thought about scheduling Q and A panels? I'm not sure how hard that would be, in the desert and all. Maybe one for costumes, one for vehicles, one for planning for the apocalypse. Just a thought.

Humvee,
Not sure about panels. We were going to have one on survival tips last year, but it didn't pan out. And yea - it's not so easy without conference rooms.
We haven't decided yet on celebrities, either. Things change when breaking even on an expensive event is a priority. Maybe we'll wait until 2012 and have the whole cast of MM2 out then.
Momo,
Thanks for getting the word out! Nice choice in banners. Hope to see you out in the wasteland this year.
