XB Sedan Pt. 2
So Deputy Enos moved to the Phillipines eh LOL

XB Sedan Pt. 2
Whew....
Been gone for a couple weeks playing Army. 18 hr days. I'm getting too old for this. And they want us to be prepared to go overseas. I think I'll politely decline.
Anyway, very cool drawrings. From what I can see the bonnet stripes look just like what I imagined. Shaker hood like Reed's is what I wanted. I think it fits nicely with the Ram Air scoops.
Not sure if I'll go with the whole Arcadipane nose or just the lower air dam. Push bar is subject to if I go with the Rammer theme or the Canine Unit.
I'm undecided about the twin tails. First, I imagine I'll have to fabricate or modify kicktail spoilers to fit a sedan anyway. I dunno how difficult that will be. Also, I'm not sure how two spoilers will look on a sedan. Might get clunky? I'm trying to imagine a 3/4 view.
I think I like the blue wheels. At first I was thinking yellow, like Max's car, but the blue seems to fit.
I know what you mean about the 'impersonating an officer' thing, but I've seen plenty of ex-cop cars driving around with the police interceptor badges still on them. Taxis included... I will have covers made for the lights though. I honestly think the sedan is too old of a car and the paint scheme too 'different' looking to be mistaken for a current police vehicle. Well, at least you warned me...
Last picky bit. Can you add a teardrop spotlight to the driver's side pillar?
Looking good! Nice concepts. It's hard to select one look to go with, but I think we're narrowing it down.
Biker,
Great idea on the dog decals. I'll have to come up with a suitable silhouette. Maybe a Canine Unit logo/badge too. Plus the dogs' names on the rear driver's side door in black. Good thinkin' mate!
Thanks,
Mitch
XB Sedan Pt. 2
Mitch: Are you actually in the army? Or just a reservist? I dunno if you'd be able to say no if you are enlisted. I know you can't decline that sort of thing in the Netherlands when you have enlisted.
Once you signed your paper, you practically signed your life away...
That is why I, when I immigrate to the US this year (looks like I will know for sure the 25th of July), will never enlist. I don't want to fight wars in some sh*t hole half way around the world. When they are on my home soil I'll fight. Hell yeah. But I won't be blown away by some terrorist in another country than my own, for the wrong reasons. The last legit war was WOII...
And about the designs: I actually had something like the top one in mind. Blown V8 interceptor sedan. But in my fantasy it's black on black. Yeah, I am a black-o-holic.

Re: XB Sedan Pt. 2
Anybody archive Jay's paint scheme ideas? I think I saved them on my other computer, but if somebody could repost, that would be cool. Time to start thinking about painting the sedan in the spring...

Holy shit, yer alive Mitch?? Still have the cars?

Re: XB Sedan Pt. 2
Still alive, mostly...
Still have the cars, although not much has been done lately. Been overseas and then back in school.
Time to get working on the cars again. I wanna get going on the sedan first.
Anybody have Jay's designs? Email address? Jay, you still on here...?
