A lot of people were asking Scarlett and I to do another event. Personally, I would love to. It was a great event, and definitely has potential to be better.
I think we'll see in the next few weeks whether or not Scarlett is willing to do it again.
Also, a lot of people suggested doing the event every 2 years instead of every year. Doing it every 2 years would allow people more time to save up for travel, and theoretically would bring in more people than a yearly event because of the scarcity factor. I'm sure that either way, the event could grow.
I talked to an expert event organizer about it, and she thought the best thing to do is to do what the participants wanted. So if any of you guys know what you would want, let me know.

Re: The next RWWE?
I'd be up for it. So will The Machine. So will my truck...
I think if the momentum is there, go for next year. Though personally, October or November would be better for me. September might interfere with DragonCon, which was seniority.
I want Vernon and Virginia again to sign my Humungus Machine! I should be getting Bruce Spence's name on there in May, so I gotta get them too.

Re: The next RWWE?
I am definaely in, weather it is next year or the year after. I am kicking myself for getting sick at the last minute and missing the party!!
If there is no RWWE on 2010 I will gladly put on another full scale RWNW event with all the trimmings, however I would not want to "devide our forces" of the long distance travellers if there will be a RWWE 2010 so I would just do our usual "reunion" event if there is to be one.
Either way count me in, I need to get Virginia's Autograph next to Vernon's from RWNW 07!

Re: The next RWWE?
Just as a reminder, I asked if we should do every year or every other year. That was not a "yes" or "no" question. Of course the answer is yes!
Re: The next RWWE?
Every.
Edit: As in every year.

Re: The next RWWE?
Karol, do you feel up to organizing this event every year? The turnout does not seem to be an issue considering how many folks showed up for the first-ever with almost no advertizing.

Re: The next RWWE?
I am definitely up for it. I love organizing events and wouldn't mind doing it every year as long as it was financially worthwhile for me to do so. Who knows, I might turn it into a side job.
