Just got back. I wish we'd had a way to ID other members from the board; would have been nice to put faces to names. Great to see everyone out there and we missed Dave and Dee! More later.

Here's a Flickr stream I found. Look for some handsome MFP officers. :)

Just got back a couple hours ago.
I am very happy and relieved to say that the event was a success. (You have no idea what I had to go through the last few months!)
Some highlights:
- Wasteland Radio broadcasting
- Jersey Tony's Camaro interceptor, Paul Miller's BoB and Jim "Dark Bushido"s MFP bike.
- The Gyrocopter flying around and coming in low and fast!
- A bunch of very cool movie-inspired vehicles, including a flat black El Camino with the top cut off and set on a 4x4 Chevy Blazer frame.
- Vernon Wells & Virginia Hey. Vernon climbed on top of our sound bus, mooned us and screamed for us. I played a soundfile from Emil Minty. I had dinner with them and got a couple of kisses from Virginia.
- The Atomic Cafe. Free booze. And an awesome looking bar, along with Paul Miller's very cool light-up sign, which was definitely the center of attention at night.
- Car cruise. Sounds boring, but you should have seen all of the motorcycles, dune buggies and Mad Max cars running around the dry lake. Wow! It was one of my favorite moments of the weekend.
- The fans: MadMaxImages, Jwrites, NFPGasMask, Cruzn2theMax, Zarana-X, etc, etc, etc. Alan & Kaz (Cruzn2theMax) were kind enough to invite me to stay in their RV, which I did. They really enjoyed themselves and it was wonderful staying with them and getting to know them.

We had lots of people asking us to please do it again!

Karol, I have to say, it was quite a successful event and do feel it could be done again with event better results now since everyone has experience and some of the props and stuff are built. I, personally, was amazed at the costumes and cars people created. There was some real passion there. I hope the event occurs again next year. So everyone, share your photos and videos with fellow fans and friends. Word of mouth is how the event can flourish.

Just my two cents.

Oh, and more photos.
