So maybe this has been covered already, but where did you get these slides?

This is just great stuff.

I completely agree. A few weeks ago everything was pretty slow, but now there is so much activity. I still can't get enough of these photos!

Dirk, does your scanner actually handle 126 negatives? If so, I'll just buy one the same here. I haven't been able to find a scanner at all that will do them (scanned all the way to the edge of the negative). A standard 35mm neg scanner will scan them, but will cut off part of the image, which I'm trying to avoid. If I'd been loaned the negs 10 years ago I would be fine, but no one seems able to deal with oddball film formats any more!

Hi Peter, unfortunately my slide scanner can't handle them :(
Maybe if you do a scan, rotate the negative, scan again and then stitch them together
(As i did on the lobby cards, which are bigger than the size my scanner can handle (A4)).
Looks like some flatbed scanners work, if you build yourself a custom film holder.
Dunno if my Canon scanner would work, since i dont have any 126 film stripes to test.
If i can get any for testing ill let you know.

I did already build a custom mount for the flatbed, and scanned them that way. Worked (and looks OK), I just wanted to do them 'properly' if I could find a way as well. The negs are borrowed, so it's a one shot deal, and I just want to get the best scans from them that I can while I have access to them.
