...sorta slow motion. he leaves the seat, goes through the windscreen, headfirst straight into the tree...right. and then, bounces back through the windscreen. by the time we got to him.. he was just sittin there trying to scream with his face ripped off......whats the matter?

Its going to have all the bells and whistles
Do you get alot of comments when you take the aussie muscle out on the road??
See the tunnel rams good stuff
Whats that next to it a 4 barrell manifold for a charger?

You got to sign up here http://www.gmh-torana.com.au and post all about your project

This maybe good reading for you http://www.gmh-torana.com.au/forums/ind ... LS1+Torana
Thanks for the link! I'll have to check that board out and sign up when I get some installed pics of the engine/trans in mine.. It's coming along well so far at least. Hopefully I'll have an engine/trans donor for it in the next month and can get into it (I have a bunch of containers to load this month, so the Torrie will be waiting 3 weeks or so until I am done)

Oh, and good eye on the intake, that one is actually from a Val Pacer (old one) I also have a brand new six-pack intake, new repo linkage and full set of Webers waiting for the next 265 project I get. The 308 tunnel ram is a left over from when I had the 308/4 speed in the Torana and was thinking of running it. I just kept the 4bbl on it until I pulled the engine, and just held onto the tunnel ram (I have a new billet accell dizzy too I never got to using, gonna send that one back to Oz to sell I think though  )

I had 2 others, but plan to keep this one (had it the longest) the others going helped support building this one, so it all works out...

Speaking of Toranas in movies...was there an LC/LJ in Dead End Drive In somewhere? I've got the movie, but have not watched it in ages and ages....thought there might have been one parked in the drive-in, in it ? Hmmmmm....

Are you orginally from OZ as you got all the good gear by the sounds of it to be an aussie.
Did not know there was a book but a great movie metal skin.
Will have to buy dead end drive in.

Do you like running on empty?

Nope, not an Aussie...born and raised around SoCal here... I've just been working with an Aussie for around 13 years now with alot of going back and forth, so picked up some toys along the way !

And yep, seen Running On Empty a bunch of times (have the DVD) I actually shipped the Dodge Daytona back here that was briefly in the movie..(A buddy of mine had bought it years ago...and almost bought the Challenger too, but ran out of money..)

Dead End Drive-In has a '57 Chev convertable in it as the 'main' car, but lots of other Oz stuff floating around of course...

Oh, and always get heaps of great comments on the cars ! (I've had a few different cars/utes around too which helps) even had a Commodore Ute around for a while :D

Another pic...your run of the mill Yank driveway ? (My Charger, VG Coupe, and Torries...only have the red Torrie left now)
