what if it also damaged the trans cooler (in rad) losing fluid causing no drive

had a trans cooler line come off a f250 ford truck it only went about 1/4 mile before coming to a halt

...in the Holden van's radiator, the A/T cooler lines were inside either the bottom cap ( vertical flow )..or one of the side caps ( horizontal flow ).. that fence picket would have had to puncture the brass cap and the copper cooling line inside for that scenario..

..Your F-250 came to a halt due to sudden pump cavitation.. ( air ) .. A/T fluid is cooled before it is returned to the pump inside the case.

They couldn't have her drive miles and miles up the road, max wouldn't be able to runthat far, he would have just sat down for a cuppa and waited for the coppers!!

I killed a flathead mercury engine in about five mins one fall. my dad had drained my trucks radiator to flush it with the hose and hadnt got around to refilling it.. I didnt know of it, the temp gauge didnt work. I ruined that great flatty motor.....

She just started losing power suddenly and then just quit running. I was able to get the block free by dragging the truck with a tractor, but she ran like hell then.I ruined that great flatty motor..... Im still pissed at this and it was four years back.

I think that little wagon of max's wouldve gotten a lot farther than it did in the movie.
