Welcome Emil Minty

Post by 600horsepower »

So cool to have you on the board Emil. I've seen Road Warrior a million times and now I get to chat with one of the stars...surreal! It's amazing how you've embraced the whole Mad Max fandom, while being a very important part of that world yourself. Looking forward to your future posts.

Oh yeah....I've seen Boondock Saints MANY times. It's my second favorite movie of all time.I live about 10 minutes north of Boston, MA (where Boondock was filmed) and I'm Irish so it's a big deal for me. It's also a big deal for a lot of people around this area. I've been to some of the places where they filmed it, though I don't have pics. The Lakeview restaurant (actual name in real life) where Rocco shoots the mob peons and the bartender, the alley where Willem Dafoe investigates the dead Russian guys, and that half-circle stone wall that the brothers are looking over at the river in the opening credits are some places I've been too. Very cool that you like that movie. Again, happy to have you aboard!!

He Emil. Great to have you here at the forum. You don't see that everyday that a movie actor joins up with the fans later on to chat. It's really fantastic.

On IMDb I can see you quit acting in 1988. What did you do after that?
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Great to have you on the forum, Emil!

I just read the IMDB profile on you, I didn't realise you were in that many movies. When did you stop acting, and how did you get into the jewellery business? The two trades seem worlds apart.
