Hey Steve, have fun with the car man, enjoy it. Please keep in touch ith the board. I cant explain why there are so mny replicas out there and not many post pics of there cars here.

I dont know who built the easternat replica but I know there have been heaps of replicas made and you dont hear or see them around. Hard for the average Joe to work out who biulds quality vehicles.

Steve, when you get the car we will be looking forward to lots of pics of details. These pics look great, and the car looks wonderful, but being the drooling slobs that we are I am sure others would also like to see interior and engine pics and the sort. Looks like you are getting a great car.

Sockpuppet is only making rudimentary comments with innuendos. This is the mark of a coward, unable or unwilling to make statements of fact or opinion with any basis in reality. This is what one does when they have nothing of any substantiality. I also find extreme irony in the name "sockpuppet", an item that has a history of being used when one does not wish to be held accountable for statements expressed by the puppet rather than the puppet wearer. This must be intentional and also further evidence of their cowardace, otherwise if this person were so confident of their views he would boldly make his claims to back his silly banter. Kids...

4073max my replica at sandown I had built for me by guys I met along the journey. My base car was a $200 shell at a wreckers that suprisingly had little rust. I documented the build up including the welding of rust repair sections and the body work. The guy who did the painting and bodywork did it in his spare time at home and painted it in 2 pac outside. The car came up very nice indeed but it took over three years and a lot of stress. Nearly everyone who touched it was a pain and was expensive. These builds should not be taken on lightly.

get the facts, regardless of the explanation, excuse, or circumstances.

Gordon has been associated with replicas that have

* had busted engines (attributed to different heat conditions)

* paint peeling ( attributed to six months in the sun)

* suspension ride hieght problems

* check out bill browns site photos under 'bucket of holes'

Sure Gordo and co have offered to remedy the issues and I remember Grant coming over to fix something on a replica but these issues have occurred regardless of why and how.

I am sure there are more facts out there, Gordon's own webpage outlines these issues so he isnt hiding from them so dont kiss ass unless you know. I dont totally blame him but he is the seller and should accept the fall as he does. I am sure he has learnt heaps and each car would be better. I dont know that his cars are any different to the other replicas out there they are old cars. I would like to hear from replica owners as how there cars are going. What about Scott Smiths last v8 1 how is that doing????
