Can the undubbed version of MM1 be purchased in VHS or DVD format in the U.S.? Is there a special
package I should look for that will tell me I am getting the correct edition?
Do the DVD versions of MM1 and MM2 have any material not found on the latest VHS releases of
MM1 and MM2?

No (not officially). You can find VHS copies on eBay, and also a dealer linked from my page though. Just don't pay too much.
If you're not in a hurry, wait and see if the current cinema release makes it to DVD and VHS as promised - it should be better quality, and cheaper.

MM1 DVD has nothing. MM2 DVD has the trailer. The MM2 special edition VHS has the making of (and the trailer), so the VHS actually has more stuff. Look at the "Film & Video" page for Mad Max 2 for pictures of the SE VHS cover.
