I'm interested too, although I have no MM wheels. Of course I'd bring my mini BoB; I'd love to get a pic of it sitting on the blower pully of the real thing.


I like the idea of a bunch of MFP officers going 10-7 to Outback. Seems almost natural.

I'll plan all sorts of cool stuff if I can get some sort of guarantee that people will show up.


The convention is around the end of Aug/beginning of Sept. next year (Labor Day) so start making plans. Plus, the rates are cheaper the sooner you get your memberships and make sure to reserve a hotel room as soon as you know you're going. Main hotel is the Holiday Inn Collinsville (Illinois).


Chase: In addition to the cars and some discussion groups/panels on costuming/car importing, etc. we're gonna have display space for a Mad Max/Road Warrior exhibit. I plan on a museum type display with cases for artifacts, toys, models, props, etc along with graphics and other fun stuff. So bring on the Miniceptor and we'll put it on display with all the other models and cool stuff I'm sure we can gather over the next year.


Doug and Jay: Come on down! Bring Mark Scarselli with you! And any other Northerners you can hook up with. I'll make sure you guys and your cars are taken care of. Road trips can be fun. St. Louis is hard to miss. Just look for the big silver Arch.


armourer: Bring the Duster and the Amish Militia. We'll hit the Cracker Barrel across the street, and then raid Outback later...

We can have some MFP guys with a yellow pusuit...


I can dress as Wez on a bike, with "Max" in a BoB...


Maybe Karen from Washington state will come out with her Auntie costume, and I can provide a couple bartertown guard costumes.

Have you tried tracking down Norma Moriceau? I have a couple of leads if you're interested. I tried one, but never got a response. She's definitely up there on the people I want to meet during my life.
