Pixar's "CARS"...
Just wanted to bring this page back into easy view...
Gosh I took a shot of the Japan replica with the camo net on, I wish I had thought of that angle, I was in similer bush as well. Might have a similer angle on the video tape.

Cheers

When I see pictures like this, I begin to believe that a Mad Max 1.5 can be made, Mel or no Mel. The cars are available, you just have to contact the right people...
Or a Pixar version of TheRoad Warrior will do.

I think Pixar COULD do a Max 4 Fuzzy Road...I mean look at what the Star Wars franchise did with the two(?) dvd's they released for the Clone Wars. It's all animated with maquette-style characters that we all recognize. Why not do the same with Mel/Max and the cars since he's gone down the drain as a live-action actor. It would cost 25 million less to make right off the top, and you could tell him what to do and not get into a "religious discussion." I know..."blaspheming again."
I know...I do the production sketches for the cars/vehicles, and BIKER draws the characters, MITCH does the comedic relief, and the characters are modeled after all of us...sound good?

"Biker could draw the characters" ?????
Uhhhh nope unless they're all female of course. I have very little interest in drawing blokes... I seem to lack the.... errr... desire.
Gordon, I don't know about anyone else but I just can't get enough about seeing more pix of that Jap replicar. It's like I'm seeing lost footage from MM2 or some alternate story that had begun but abandoned by Miller and crew. So please post more if you have them and if a copy of that DVD is up for sale I'd REALLY be interested in buying one, pretty please (bats eyelashes) with a cherry on top.
Gotta go.

Pixar's "CARS"...
Hi Biker.
Send me your private e-mail and I send you some more pictures.
I'm at mailto:
The DVD is filmed, (we filmed it just on a year ago now) and yea the replica looks awesome on film, as expected.. Editing has been the issue. The guy who filmed it lost interest after we edited all the scenes, so the scenes still need to be assembled, so there is a way to go yet. I am looking to get some time to track another editor. I also am waiting on the footage that we had edited so far to be loaded onto a DVD format, so that I can get back into it. Still flat out with Steve's replica at present and doing the DVD is slow work. So its a parked up project for now.

Cheers

Hey Gordon, my email address is listed in my profile above. I don't want to post it here cos I don't need some robot gleaning the address on a trawl and spamming me any more than I am already. My website is also linked there.
Perhaps you can let me know in an email what sort of cost a replicar would cost, I've always been curious but never bold enough to actually ask.
Thanks and keep us informed about that DVD.
