Anybody down under have VHS or DVD versions of Mad Max 2 with its original title? Road Warrior was added on for US release. I heard that the Australian version (MM2) has a few extra minutes of extra footage that the American DVD doesn't have.

Yeah i got two VHS versions of MAD MAX 2 that are completely UNCUT and have the words MAD MAX 2 in the credits.
To get these you gotta get the original Rental from like 1982 or something, the awesome one with the cool cover of MAX and Dog walking down the highway, with the big review on the back cover - Plus the Sellthru released in 1992, with the THUNDERDOME MAX cover, this is the same print and totally UNCUT too.
But stay away from the Sellthru released in 99', its the CUT to sh*t Yanky version, and comes up ROAD WARRIOR, though you get the cool CHASE CONTINUES doco, the Region 4 DVD is CUT to sh*t too, but you do get a cool WIDESCREEN version, clear as sh*t.

theres noway i'd sell any of them, but i could dub you a copy off

As long as you could play PAL. cause a couple members on here that live in the US. have wanted tapes before then found out they can only play NTSC. and its buggered their plans ya know.
Its also pretty hard to find these versions of MAD MAX 2 around the place, now, i know a place that occasionally gets the 99' sellthru i mentioned, but not the Rental or the Thunderdome cover one ya know.

See here in Australia, we can get multi region Video players as well as DVD players, so we can play NTSC and PAL. i'm sure you could get PAL players in the US. and cause the poor ol' videotape is slowly on its way out, they'd be cheap as sh*t.

Here in the states if one goes out and buys a cyberhome brand dvdplayer model # CH-DVD300 then go to http://www.dvdunlocker.com . Buy the program and then you can play any region dvd. Now my dvd player is a multi region player. It sure it works with other players too.

Yeah we had a thing going on down here for a little while, where you had to ring the company that made your DVD player, and ask them for a special code you had to type into your player, and it made it Multi region, but it got so common, that they ended up just making them all permanently Multi region - even the cheapo Dick Smith ones are.
