It was one year ago today, actually almost to the minute.

An ill fated caravan of fans left the comfort of there domiciles and ventured forth into the Wastelands of originality and common sense that is San Antonio, Texas. Traveling south towards what was once called the third coast they encountered many a local. Many understood their quest, but a lowly few did not. With their Bronze escort they pressed further into the heart of the city. It was a beautiful day that seemed like the old days. Days where one could have fun and congregate together without fear of oppression and distain. Well after the clan had arrived at their destination they were swarmed by agitated local public servants. These "servants" waved their hands and carried on like banshees. "there had been complaints", "There were calls made" "the city was put at risk by our careless driving as we tried to find you" they shouted at us.

" We called your authorities, we arranged with the Media, we have documentation" Was the retort of the traveling crowd. But alas they cried foul, and began to arrest some of the fans..... Some stepped in to try and stop it but it was to no avail. In the end only twelve of almost sixty were arrested charged with "Obstructing the highway" a charge reserved for retaliation against farmers unions for herding their sheep and cattle onto the roads. We had no cattle and we're no sheep. Some were charged with possession of illegal weapons...... Suction cup dart guns, and rubber knives are illegal? One was even charged with filming a documentary without a permit... He was riding a motorcycle and had no camera......

It is over now..... 24 hours in jail, thousands of dollars spent to defend against the charges, that ultimately were dropped. But we have the last laugh.. Only 12 of the 60 were inconvenienced, but none of the charges stuck. And now next weekend we will celebrate in the style of the MFP. We will congregate together once again in south Texas. We will meet at our Halls of Justice (AKA Gary's warehouse, home of South Saint Mary's Rod and Custom), [/font]we will drink and we will be merry. For we are free, we are unstoppable, we are the fans that took over the highways

With the Mach 1 you would've been a shoo in for some sort of citation. Or a medal for bravery.

"You drove that from WHERE?"

I still can't believe that charges were filed. Any talk of a lawsuit? Or a docudrama on Fox? LOL!

Don't you mean a 'shoe'? As in 'given the boot by the bully boys'? Or "shoo", like 'go away'?
