Chevy Tahoe

Post by SimonP »

Just for fun I found this site and thought it could be cool...

So I created a Chevy Tahoe commercial with a Mad Max theme to it, if I ever get the email with the actual commercial I made I'll post it up here, but it went something like this: [the picture description]

BIG [looking at the bonnet etc]

BOLD [a view of it approaching]

BEAUTIFUL [parked on a beautiful mountain side]

it can go anywhere [on top of a snow covered mountain]

so with it's 5300 V8 it's sure to... [the engine]

turn this [wonderful waterfalls]

and this in to [beautiful natural areas]

DESERT WASTELAND - go Mad Max style with [a desert]

CHEVY TAHOE (An American Revolution) [Chevy end page]

The music kind of suits as well :)

Enjoy!

I like it at least... Oh, does anyone know what all the bits of music are, cos I like them, are they commercial music or just Chevy made bits?

It's a nice looking 4x4, but probably not practical to be honest..

Would depend on what the machine's to be Used for, wouldn't it, Simon?

Take my dad's truck, for Example..

Ford F350 4-Door. (Not sure if it's a 4-wheel Drive)

He uses it for pulling his boat and carries a Pop-Up camper (Caravan to you English & Australians) on his yearly fishing expiditions to Canada.

Would it be Practical to use as a Daily Driver? Hell, No. Image

Would it be practical to use a Mini to pull a 25 foot fishing boat and haul a camper intended to house 3 plus carry provisions and equipment for 3 weeks?

actually the Tahoe is pretty normal looking as far as your average American vehicle ist the Suburban and the Exursion and the Hummer H2 thats a beats and impractical as all f**k. the Chevt Tahoe is pretty much the same thing as my 97 GMC Sierra 1500 but with 2 extra doors and a perminant shell

Oh yeah, there are practical sides to most things, but I know that many of the Tahoe owners of the future will be school run mums (moms) who never let their Tahoe see the nasty side of a pothole let alone a real off road experience ;)

Don't get me wrong... I've had some real whoppers of big arsed nasty cars and trucks in my time as well ;)

I wouldn't be a Mad Max fan if I didn't.. Just seemed to me that my version of the ad would be commical :D

Gotta agree there....the less stylish the vehicle...the more capable it is!

the little Suzuki Jimny's and Sierras are light enough for a pair of blokes to 'rock' or push off a hangup!

Jeeps and (yes i can't believe i'm admitting it) Land Rover's are really 'able' vehicles although a bit utilitarian looking

and at the other end of the scale Toyota Canters (4x4 version) are absolutely unstopable..they've got ground clearance in spades (like an old WW2 Blitz truck)...and perfect gearing!....the ultimate go anywhere machine
