Thats interesting about there being a long range Interceptor. I had read in some stories Max stripped the car, selling interior parts for fuel/modifications and also tearing out the carpets for warmth during the fallout of "nuclear winter." Where can I find more fan fiction/stories?

Try http://xoomer.virgilio.it/madmaxed/fanfic.html. He's got a bunch of Mad Max stories. Also, I have three stories on my site; http://www.madmaxmodels.com. Well, two and a half. The first one is incomplete; it's about how Max found dog. The second one happens between Mad Max 1 and 2. The third story takes place just after Mad Max 2. Let me know what you think!

the 'gayboy berserkers' all have MFP-ish uniforms and cars. the landau, the xa and all the police-themed cars are supposed to be former MFP cars or generic police cars.

(i think :p)

Thanks HUMVEE Driver for the info. I have been on your site before, great job. Great job on your costumes as well. I am on the hunt for the Max jacket, but am unsuccessful in finding one under $1200.00. Any suggestions? Thanks again!

Finding a matching jacket is tough. Even tougher would be shelling out big bucks for one and then hacking off the right arm. Second hand stores are an option, but your chances of finding a leather jacket are slim, and even slimmer for one like Max's. I think your best bet is Ebay. Leather jackets by Wilsons are commonplace there, but Wilsons brand isn't quite right; with the little key pocket in front. You just have to narrow your search by price and ommiting results with 'Wilson'. All I can say is keep checking there. I found my jacket on Ebay long ago, and I bought it from a seller in Canada. Sorry, but it doesn't have a name brand. I'll let you know if I learn anything else. One more thing, you might want to ask Karol over at http://www.madmaxcostumes.com. He's the costume expert anyway.

Thanks again HUMVEE Driver. I read your stories today, great work. I am working on one myself. Well I'll start checking around for a "similiar" jacket. Maybe it will just happen, "you know, a piece from here and a piece from there."

I've wondering why Max chopped off the right arm of his jacket in the first place. His right arm was driven over by the Toecutter in MM 1, correct? If so, I assume the jacket would have to fit over a cast.

I have read somewhere the reason the sleeve is cut off. I have all my Mad Max stuff on my other computer, will check and get back to you. Come to think of it I think it was cut off because of his injury, but I will check

Wasn't there a tear visible in the sleave as Max chained Johnny the Boy to the wrecked Ute?

I doubt the sleave was cut to make room for a Cast.

Whatever medical attention he recieved.. He did himself.

If Max had gone back to civilization, he'd likely have been arrested for stealing the BoB.
