NEVER NOTICED THAT! Anyway, I asked opinion to a doctor, and he sured me glaucoma can result into eye change colour. Max's glaucoma was the product of the accident in MM2, of course!Quote: Originally posted by PrinceVegeta on 08 December 2003
Ok I figured it was cuz of the injury, but I didn't know for sure if an injury can cause something like that. I just wanted to make sure. And yes you can tell Miller paid a lot of attention to detail. But thanks for the answers. I was really kinda curious.
And as for something else I noticed by watching MM3BT there is a part towards the end when Barter Town was going up in explosion. And Auntie ges up and she starts telling everyone they will rebuild. And you see Black Finger look at her and go "What??" If you watch that tube that connects from his hand to his neck comes off. What in the hell is that tube for???

Now I'm not a marijuana smoker, but do you think that if Max toked up at least once a day for about 2 years or so that his glaucoma would go away???

In a normally civilized pre-apocalyptic society, I would say yes.Quote: Originally posted by PrinceVegeta on 08 December 2003

I've heard that injury can change eye color
This is true. David Bowie has different colored eyes. He said his eye got injured at school or something.
Marylin Manson also has different colored eyes, but his was somehow self-inflicted.
I think Jane Seymour was born that way. She said she would lose acting jobs because of it. What a shame.
I've never seen it as a different color when they showed the story which talked about it...just that the iris was stuck open after the recovery surgery. It could look like a different color snice the iris is concentrated the color into a smaller area I guess.
I know a girl that was born with two different iris colors...definately an interesting sight to behold in person.

Okay...
Re-Reading the MM3 Novelization, I came across a couple of lines in the first couple of chapters that indicate that he (IMO) DOES have vision in that eye.
(I don't have exact quotes because I forgot to bring the book with me this morning)
The first one is a mention of him trying to focus on Jed's plane after being hit in the head with it's landing gear.
Definately says (innacurate quote. see above) "..forcing his eyes to focus..." this would indicate that both eyes do indeed see.
One could argue that his vision is BAD in that eye, but we've no real indication of that from the book.
The other, in describing the scar, "..almost lost the eye in that fight, but he was alive and the man who marked him was not.."
(again, not an exact quote)
Well, not conclusive.
But it is food for thought.
