Only when its in black and white will I believe that Gyro and Jedediah are the same!!!

First of all, this thread has absolutely no point.

Secondly, when I first saw Thunderdome I also thought they were one and the same character.

But they're not.

If you spend enough time looking at the differences, you'll realize the only similarity between the two is that they look a lot alike and fly, that's about where it ends.

Gyro left with the Great Northern Tribe and eventually died.

Jebediah doesn't even live with the Great Northern Tribe. He lives in a bunker a few miles from Bartertown.

Gyro Captain has brown-reddish hair and horrible teeth. Jebediah has blonde hair and perfect teeth.

I'm sure others will come up with other reasons, but those are just a few of the obvious differences.

Lastly, after not seeing him after fifteen years, Max wouldn't have said, "You! It's your lucky day. You got a plane...it might just save your life." As bad-ass as Max is, he would have gotten slightly emotional and probably would have smiled and said something to show that he recognized him from all those years earlier. He's barely seen anyone in the wasteland since the Humungus battle so he would most certainly recognize him and say something. It's like if he saw Jessie or Goose or Fifi down in the bunker. He wouldn't just say "Hey, we need a lift, can you help us out?" He would talk to them.

It's surprising that anyone who seriously looks at these films a number of times would think they're the same character.

Uncle, are you really surprised that you come under abuse and critisism from other members when you post sh*te, what possible response could you expect from your post except to be told not to waste web space, especially with your "mad max and aunty entity" topic, WHAT THE F*CK IS THAT ALL ABOUT? you seriously need to get laid, take DOMES advice and LOG OFF for a while.

There was a time i thought you came under unfair critisism but you leave yourself wide open for it when you start threads like these.

I don't think the thread about "Aunty and Max" was way offensive. Don't you? I think there is MUCH CHEMISTRY between the two. Anyway, I didn't post it just FOR FUN. A girl is writing a fan fiction tale about Max and Aunty, and I was just testing the ground, if you know what I mean. I do what I do for a reason.

As far as concerning JEDEDIAH, he's surely the Gyro Captain:

1- Max is a motherf**ker. He doesn't need to "smile" or to kiss Gyro's ass after 15 years. Gyro/Jed is a good guy, but a trickster, not much better than the Skags out of there. He f**ked up Max in the beginning of ROAD WARRIOR. He f**ked up Max in the beginning of THUNDERDOME. I know, he didn't get any notion about the real identity of the post-apocalyptic beduin but - give me a lemon - he's out of there, f**king up people, and Max was a former policeman ----- he's still a defender.

2- There is no evidence Gyro stayed with the tribe. He's a motherf**ker, scratching the surface. Again, I love you the way he is.
