An intro - And sad moments in the Max trilogy...
He, he, I opened this old Thread again, because I found now, that the warrior who rips down Max's jacket, is back later, with Blackfinger and Entity, when they threaten Max with their rifles. He survived and... has Max jacket with him. A deleted scene shows how he chucks the jacket in the sand, afterwards Entity grins and says her text.

I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

YES!!!!!
I always knew he had the jacket. I really wish we could see this scene. Although when Max gets up and starts walking away from the explosion after Entity and Blackfinger leave, where's the jacket?
Either way, this is a nice kick in the pants to all those people who said he doesn't have the jacket.
Now they have to make Fury Road so we can see that jacket and shoulder pad again.

Hey guys,
I'm the one that posted this thread originally, so I was shocked when I got a "New Post Notification" email yesterday about it. This thing's a relic from the past, but it's a topic very near and dear to me, so I'm glad to see it's return.
While I'm at it, if any of you still have not read my Mad Mad IV screenplay, you're nuts. It's great, gruesome, action-packed fun for the most diehead Max fans. Hell, I even sent it to George Miller's office and got a lovely, "thanks but no thanks" letter. (which I'll frame one day)

"It's that rat circus out there... I'm beginning to enjoy it. Any longer out on that road and I'm one of them. A terminal crazy. Only I got a bronze badge to say I'm one of the good guys."

Yeah, I'd really like to see this deleted scene or learn more about it because if the guard drops the jacket for Max, where is it when he gets up and starts walking away from the rubble of the crash?
Tell us more, Bubba Fat, tell us more!!!
