I'm not laughing...I personally like the 85 - 87 Chrysler Conquest TSi version, with the blown wheel wells and edge styling...one of my top 10 favorites. I still rubberneck when I see one.

Hey Bronze & Docktor: I was just catching up on some old post when I came across your reference here about liking old Conquest and Starions from Mitsu/Chry. Brought back some memories of one that I almost bought back in the late eighties, anyway I went surfing and found this one for sale. Anything close to the project you were thinking about Dock.. ? Needs paint and a lower stance for me but at least he's on the way with the CI's hey like they say "There's no replacement for displacement"

I'm not sure of the laws everywhere over here (I've only claimed residence in Arizona, Cali, and now Texas) but for the most part YES SIR! If you can figure it out and put lights and brakes on it, then you can license it. We can get away with quite a bit. (saw a kit the other day to cram a V8 and rear wheel drive into a Focus! Bolts right in no welding required!)
From what I understand from this site and others you all have got it pretty tuff in the area of thing protruding from your vehicles too (I.E. Blowers, side pipes, flares, hood scoops, and the like). ?? I believe I also heard that they don't allow any force feeding of V8s ??
I would love to get over there some time (have even looked into transferring with my company (Boeing)), but Yeeeshhh with those restrictions and the whole "firearms" thing (I'm a Paintball fanatic as well) maybe I'm better off being a Texan...[/font]

We are pretty lucky, especially here in TASMANIA. were such a small state the police don't give a sh*t, what we weld onto our vehicles, I have a friend in PERTH though, who says you can't do sh*t over there. he had an LX TORANA, he had alot of plans for, like zoomie's and sh*t (yeah i know on a 'RANA
) and he thought he'd do the right thing and check at the cop shop first, and they put a black X in most of his boxes.
