heh Rock I am sure last year i saw an interview on ABC or SBS or somewhere, they were discussing well-known NIDA graduates, of course Mel is the famousest (that is going straight to Mr Oxford tomorrow...) of them all, Steve Bisley also . A reference was made to Mel about MM, and he confirmed that it definitely helped him establish a reputation as a good actor. It was not until RW was released in the US that he became as well known over there.. Of course Gallipoli also did his reputation no harm, but you can certainly forget about Mrs Soffel .
Max has to have a jacket. No jacket, no bad-ass. Simple really. Could you imagine plus fours and a beret ?? not on your life. Leather duds ( preferably with the @rse still in them), leather jacket, what else could a Road Warrier need ??

Anyway, the leather jacket is PART of Max, no way! On the other hand, like it or not, this is a series where the lead character is in constant evolution, so who does really know? Maybe Max will be wearing a totally new, pretty-cool costume. After all, Max wore a kick ass shoulder pad for TWO movies, and that could have been enough in Miller's book.
I would have wanted Dog....In fact I'd pay big for one of Dog's decendants.....
I recivied a champion bloodline German Shepard bred in the Black Forest of Germany about ten years ago. bloody dog was HUUUUUGE. When he stood beside me in a heeling postion you had to actuall turn your head to see him from head to rump. Impressive.
